From comms rooms to living rooms

Aaron started out running structured cabling and fibre for commercial sites, the kind of work where every cable is tested and every panel is labelled because somebody will check. That habit came with him into homes across Kent. Over seven years the work has shifted: fewer server rooms, more homes with a garden office that cannot get a signal, a TV for the chimney breast, cameras on the phone, and an alarm that should not need a code punched into a keypad. Same engineer, same standards, pointed at the technology in your house.

The reviews keep saying the same three things

He takes his time

Positions are talked through, options are explained and the system is demonstrated until you are comfortable. Stuart in his review counted the number of times Aaron showed him the app.

It is done properly

Cables are hidden and made good, cabinets are labelled, runs are tested. The commercial habits do not switch off in a house.

He answers the phone

After the install, it is still Aaron on the number. Care plan customers get that as a guarantee, everyone else gets it because that is how he works.

Questions about AC Home Tech

Who will actually turn up?

Aaron. He surveys the job, quotes it, installs it and hands it over. On larger jobs he brings in a second engineer he has worked with for years, but he is on site and he is your point of contact throughout.

Why did the name change from AJC Network and Security?

The business started as a network and security installer and most of the early work was commercial. Over the last two years more and more of the calls were from homeowners wanting WiFi, TVs, cameras and smart lighting sorted by one person. AC Home Tech reflects that, while the commercial and cabling work carries on exactly as before.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured for public liability, and DBS checked. Documents are available on request, which matters if you are a business, a landlord or a school.

Do you do jobs outside Kent?

Hastings, Rye, Bexhill and Dungeness are covered as standard. Further afield in Sussex or Essex, ask, as it depends on the size of the job.

Speak to the person who does the work

No sales team, no call centre. Aaron reads every enquiry and replies himself.
